I have to admit that I don’t understand the show Mad Men. In fairness, I haven’t watched it from the beginning, so that definitely might have something to do with it.

I’ve really done my best though to watch a few shows here and there, but I cannot seem to get into it. I want to; I feel like I’m missing out on something the way everyone talks about the show. I think I might have to start from the beginning to really grasp the entire concept, but I will say this—their wardrobes alone are almost enough of a reason to watch. I would absolutely die to be able to dress like those women every day. I guess in theory I could, but putting together all of those outfits would be a little difficult, I think. I’d have to shop at a lot of vintage stores to pick up all the pieces and I’m sure a lot of them would not be cheap. For now I’ll have to stick with my existing wardrobe, but I can definitely dream of tailored pencil skirts and embellished cardigans, right? This look is called the "cave man" look, and now other celebrities have been photographed in fur vests when they show up at different events; plus there are also lesbian women who are joining in on the trend. Fur vests keep you warm, but with the sleeveless cut you aren't appearing in bulk.

The Lion King musical is going to be amazing!

We've been looking forward to this trip that we're about to take for a long time. We asked work for it months and months ago and we're flying out to New York City next week! It's just going to be so much fun because I think that we both have needed a break from work and home for a while now. It will be a nice, fast-paced break from our normal lives, which is just what I'm craving.

I was looking online a few nights ago to find some good restaurants to make reservations at while we we're there. When I was doing that, I ran across some info on sears hearing centers and after I looked through it a little bit, I used it to book a hearing test. I've thought for a while I might need some hearing aids so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to get them.
